The Punic War preorders have shipped.  Most US customers should actually get theirs TODAY, so I'm really looking forward to seeing what you think.  Overseas orders will, as always, take a bit longer.

Thanks again to everyone who preordered and for your patience as the cases languished in customs.

Got mine!!!!

Absolutely love it!!!

Can't wait to play!!!

My set had the scenario booklet and rules booklet in the wrong boxes. If I had only gotten the basic set I would have had a scenario booklet full of scenarios I didn't have enough units to play and no idea how to play anyway. I hope this is an isolated mix up.

How's the artwork?

You know me, I have to ask.

Got mine yesterday and I have to say I really like the artwork. The Dark Elf promos not only lived up to the previously released image but exceeded it in my mind.  Great work Forevernyt!!

Sorry the Highblood Duskblade and Drake Rider keep grabbing my eye:)

My first part of my comment above was on the artwork for the Punic Wars.  The use of bright colors really makes the units stand out.  And as a result its a lot easier now to tell the difference between unit types when they are across to the field from you (ie no more confusion over swords/spearmen).

It's been posted elsewhere, but the wrong booklets is NOT isolated...however, it is being corrected before the main shipments go out.  I didn't bother for pre-orders or for Historicon because in both cases people could only buy a complete set.

I think Richard and Kaile have hit an absolute home run with the look and feel of the set.  The units are really easy to tell apart (quite an achievement for two all-human factions with relatively homogenous equipment).  The bright colors also give the set a lot of pop on the table without being excessive.  I'm also really happy with the new box.  It is going to be a lot more eye-catching on store shelves and won't have the "looks like a TCG" problem.  It also feels great and is strong enough that you can just keep your armies in it unless you're using sleeves.
