Absolutely!  If our marketing department thinks you're not attractive enough, they'll just photoshop my face over yours.   :o

Mark your calendars:  the Alexander and Persia Kickstarter will go live on May 5th!

We've tentatively set the sponsor levels and the stretch goals (hint:  additional artwork!).  The next month will be doing all the logistical stuff to make it happen:  setting up the kickstarter page, lining up quotes on the artwork, preparing the kickstarter video, etc.

Now we're cooking with gas!  How long will the kickstarter run for?  And if it stays on schedule how long do you think it will be until we have the actual products in our hot little hands?

The kickstarter will run for 30 days (that's the plan anyway).

As for when it'll be available...that's a Chad question.  I thought it was something like 2-3 months to get it back from the printer.

The general rule of thumb is that it takes one month from when they get files to when they print and another month to ship.  We don't actually have to wait for the KS to complete, though, before we can start that process.  So somewhere in the 3-4 month from now range.

This is where the community here can really help out:  I need all the reviews we can get of BGFW for the kickstarter.  I know boardgamegeek has several, but I don't know where they are.

Could folks provide links to all the reviews they know about?

Since i am involved in other KS projects also (Artipia games) be sure to include add ons for the backers so they can offer more money. The most obvious Add on will be more factions from the previous print runs. This way, you can get more money by selling out your stock.

Worked really well for other companies that have more products than one, although is transforms the KS platform from a fund raising platform to a direct sales platform, something that is not well received by the distributors.

Up to you, just take it into account.

The plan is to bundle with the Punc Wars sets, giving people the opportunity to buy starters & reinforcements of that set as well.

Will there be option for us poor 'old worlders' (EU) to participate without silly high customs charges?
Would be grand. :)
