On an unrelated note, albeit one that is near and dear to my own heart, I would simply LOVE to see a set of England vs. Scotland, or Ireland vs. England, or some celtic flavor or another.

Not that these other epochs/armies aren't fascinating in their own right, but when ya bleed green, ya bleed green, laddie  ;D

The two armies have just been released to beta testing.  We're currently awaiting feedback from people in terms of fun, balance, complexity, plus any obviously broken things we missed (already found one!).

Since it's been 3 months since this thread went silent, I was wondering how the play testing, tuning, updating, and planned release schedule was looking?

After some huge changes in my life (moving to another city, living with my girlfriend, making an empty flat habitable and getting a new job.....) i am back on the Track. The playtesting for Alexander vs Persia has been going on with Hannibal taking my place and getting everything done so it will not fall apart and some very good and many changes arte taking effect now!

It is going good m8s, really good!

Glad things are coming together for you! I try to follow you on FB but Greek and Cyrillic fall under my list of non-proficiencies :P

THE PERSIANS ARE FINAL!

?? ?????? ????? ???????! (In Greek, very appropriate now, hehe).

except a command card...................

Playtesters go to the group and check the final version!

The art briefs are also ready for Chad to check.

Let's finish Alexander now!

This is stellar news!
I am very much looking forward to this expansion.
So is it time to place pre-orders yet   ;)

How about an update? It has been 10 months.  ???

I ask and comment purely out of love for the game and excitement for new stuff.

Peace

The artwork is in development now.  Unfortunately this process is choppier than with the fantasy sets as we have to custom-build many models (for armor, weapons, etc.).
