Command Card Reduced Cost as Faction Ability?
« on: June 26, 2019, 04:26:45 PM »
I'm thinking that offering command cards for purchase at the beginning of the game for a discount as part of a faction ability for a unspecified faction down the road.  Similar to how Monsters & Mercs has the free Command Card draw bonus for including certain units in an army.  The cards could cost 10-15 points each and it would be considered part of the faction ability.  Any thoughts?

Somebody may have mentioned something like this before, so I'm only taking partial credit for the idea ;)

There are a couple of abilities, such as Spoils, which normally cost a Command Action, but which let you purchase up to 4 pre-game for 15 per.  A 15 per cost for cards would be in line with that.
However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results. - Winston Churchill
