So my wife will not be up for the trip but I will. Might go just Saturday with mighty Marcus or check the buses.
Depends on if he's able to go since live is a busy place to be between holidays and a full family.

So am I!  And Jesus (Ostegun) is likely to join us.  He may even bring a friend.  Holy cow!

Awesome!

By the way, here's the latest Championship Rules.

What's new from last year...

- The Higher Ground rule has been tweaked to where (the % of your card on the high ground) - (the % of their card on the high ground) must be at leat 50% to get the bonus.  The standard rules give you the bonus if at least half of your card, and under half of theirs, is on the high ground, which at the last tournament lead to a cheesy situation that pissed Eric off to no end..

- For historical armies, I removed some special rules and point costs and instead am balancing them by giving the opponent free Command Cards.  (Carthage, Persia, Rome, and Alexander give the opponent 1, 2, 3, and 4 cards respectively.)

OK, we're in the final stretch:

COMMITTED

Eric
Ron
Kevin
Ostegun
Dave
Brook
Marcus

PROBABLE
Doug

OPEN
Ostegun's friend Mike

Time for more details...

Eric will probably get here 8pm-ish on Friday.
Kevin & Ron think they will arrive about 10pm on Friday.

When do the rest of you think you'll arrive?

Also, Kevin needs to leave by 7pm on Saturday.  Not sure if Ron is going with him, or is on his own to get back east.  Either way is cool.

When are the rest of you planning on leaving?

No right or wrong answers - I just need to make plans.

Looking forward to it!

We're still working things out in the area of transportation to include Ostegun, but the company line is that we'll leave Saturday morning and make it there sometime around noon.  We'll probably stay til Dave kicks us out.  Probably midnight?

OK, looks like we've got two main waves of attendees, with one wildcard guy in there somewhere.

Eric, it's probably better for you to arrive 8pm or later.  That gives me some extra time to get ready.  I'm behind in my preparations.

  • Wave one arrives Friday between 8ish - 10ish PM.  3 overnight guests.
  • Doug probably gets there Saturday morning.  Probably.  I'm guessing.
  • Wave two gets there lunchtime on Saturday.   I'm assuming we're not expecting Mike to join us at this point.  But he's welcome if he wants.

Everybody leaves sometime Saturday night.  No overnight guests.

We will wait for the southern reinforcements to arrive before we eat lunch on Saturday, so please try not to keep us waiting too long.

I'll go food shopping on Friday before 8pm for snacks and stuff.  Any requests?

We will work out meal food onsite.  If the NJ/NY guys know what you want for lunch on Saturday, let us know now and we will arrange to have that ready.

See you in just a few days!
