delayed command
« on: March 15, 2016, 09:25:38 PM »
One of the hardest things to simulate is the fog of war and imperfect communication. The order system in Battleground lends itself to allow for this a little bit.

Simply say that changing orders must be done at the end of the M&C phase, after all movement and shooting has taken place. Further, only one unit may be Direct Controlled per turn and that must be specified by writing DC in the orders box for the unit to be Direct Controlled in the following turn.

I believe real commanders would still be salivating to have the level of control practiced in our game (or any game, for that matter!).
